My Little Conqueror

Dear my little conqueror, today is 16 Aug 2015 and you are 12 days old. Today Papa and Mama went to visit you early in the morning to send you off for your second surgery. Before you left, you opened your beautiful eyes to look at us. Mama's heart broke.

At about 2pm+, we received a call from Dr GM Tan that your surgery went as planned and we could drop by to visit you. We brought Gege along with us. However, he couldn't go into your room to look at you as he was too young.

Ellie was looking very pale when Papa and Mama saw you.  However, my brave Ellie recovered quickly and I actually see your face turned a bit pinkish before I left at 6pm. Mama read Psalms to you today and we managed to cover until chapter 71. During Mama's stay with Ellie, you opened your eyes a few times to look at Mama. However, you looked so tired Mama quickly pat you back to sleep. Ellie, Mama will give you as much milk as you can take when you are well.

Mama also said prayers over you before I left. Mama prayed that the peace of God will be with you and that God will make you whole again. Ellie, although this seems impossible in the eyes of man, but let's hope we serve a sovereign God who can do exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond what we can ask or imagine. Let's hope that we don't have to put you through any more surgery and God will make your heart WHOLE again.

Ellie, Mama do not know for how any years Mama can care for you. But do know that Mama loves you very much and Mama will hold you for as long as God allows.
