My dearest Ellie, today you are 5 days old. Today we celebrate Singapore's 50th birthday. You are what we called SG50 baby!
It breaks Mama's heart whenever I visit you at the hospital. There are so much Mama would like to do for you but I can't as there are so many tubes attached to you and Mama can't hold you. Mama hasn't hold you since the day you were born.
How Mama wish to breastfeed you, bathe you, let you lie down on my chest, hold you, rock you to sleep, trim your hair and nails for you...
Ellie, Mama has been praying for you everyday. Mama's close friends from church have been praying for you unceasingly as well. Mama has been reading the book of Psalms to you everyday. The word of God is like lamp unto our feet and light unto our path. The word of God brings life. And I pray that as I read to you, it will bring you life and most importantly peace. May the word of God heals you. The word of God goes forth to accomplish the things it was sent forth to do and they will not return to God void.
Ellie, Mama will make it up to you when you come home. Mama will take good care of you and Gege the best I know how. You also have a Papa the superhero who will love you unconditionally. Papa will bring you places to play and he will make sure that you grow up a happy child like Gege. We are all waiting to welcome you home. The people praying for you are waiting to see you and hug you. We have so much love to give you my dear. Please come home to us soon and get well soon. I know it's a very rough stage for you. None of us have suffered more than you do. But the bible says that you will have LIFE and LIFE more ABUNDANTLY.
