Mama loves to watch Yaya eats

We were early for Heguru last Thursday and hence we went to get 2 egg tarts for Yaya. Mama wanted to just get one but Yaya insisted that you would like to have 2!

Yaya told Mama: "Yaya eats the inside. Papa eats the outside." Yaya finished all the custard from the 2 egg tarts. It's a joy to watch Yaya eats by yourself!

Mama bought an eagle for Yaya. Unfortunately one of its wings broke. But Yaya was still very happy playing with the eagle with broken wings. When Mama looks at this, Mama truly understands how sometimes we do not need things to be perfect to be happy. Baby, you and Mei Me have taught Mama more than you know. I thank God for blessing Papa and Mama with the both of you 

Nie Nie (Ellie's version of Nice Nice)

This is the first time Ellie babe wore one of  Yaya's cute hand-me-downs. When Mama put it on for you, Mama said: "Nie Nie..." Ellie also pointed at your romper and said nie nie... very adorable.

Mama likes it when you lie down on the floor suddenly to ask for sayang... too adorable!

Yaya's interest in Ukulele

Yaya has been showing interest in ukulele recently. This was before Heguru yesterday. Mama found you playing with the ukulele. 

Papa and Mama have decided to get you a real ukulele instead of a toy ukulele.

"Mama Ostrich, I need a helping hand!" said Yaya.

"Mosquito bite, mosquito bite!"

That was what Yaya told Mama just now. Your diaper was too full and it was weighing down on you, causing some redness and itch somewhere on the left side of your hip bone.

Mama is always amazed by the things you said.


You were playing pretend play with Mama. You are the Baby Ostrich and Mama is the Mama Ostrich.

Ellie @ 14 months old

Ellie babe, you turned 14 months today. How time flies. Mama is thankful for every single breathe you take.

Ellie loves to do this recently to get people to sayang you on your back. =)

"Mama, can I play with Kinetic Sand?"

This is one of Yaya's favourite activities at home... Kinetic Sand! We started off with forming shapes with molds and recently we have been playing with your vehicles. This is Mei Mei joining in the fun. =)

 

Mama asked Yaya to give Mei Mei a kiss so that Mei Mei would not snatch the sand from Yaya as Yaya was unwilling to share with Mei Mei. But Mama was the one who told you not to let Mei Mei play with your sand as she may put them into her mouth and ingest them accidentally.
